Fish Fishy Fish Empty Fish Fishy Fish

To be entirely fair, Pharex didn't often go out of his way to be extra chummy with most people, as there wasn't enough time in the world for that, and especially so if one wanted to juggle multiple acquaintances and whatnot. Nevertheless, even he had days when there wasn't anything remotely important happening, and using them for beneficial relationship progression was one of the options, right? Or so would be the technical way of putting the matter at hand into words. Deciding to be courteous, the small reddish dragon has invited his sea friend out for lunch in the forest a few hours beforehand to give himself time to prepare said event. He liked to have things in order and done properly after all.

Thus he had spent a chunk of time over at the aquatic bio dome, baiting fish by wiggling the glowing orb on his tail under water until he caught a bunch that seemed satisfying enough. Once he was done with that, he'd put them all into a basket he prepared beforehand which he then floated all the way to the forest with his powers. Good gracious, who would have known maneuvering around obstacles could be such an annoying job? Tsk, he really needed to spend more time practicing. Then again, what would he really need it for here anyway? It was unlikely he'd happen to participate in some competition that required him to do such a thing. Junction was diverse, but could still be a lil boring at times. Wasn't that why he was preparing a picnic in the first place?

That aside, he would use the small window of time he had left to gather some forest berries for seasoning before he settled to wait for the dragon lady to come around to the previously agreed meeting place.

A light breeze hung overhead as the sun gleamed in the sky sending sparkling reflections rippling through the seas waves as the tide was slowly creeping in on a snoozing creature. After quite an exciting day of exploring the depths of the ocean, searching through that coral reef she didn't recognize before wrestling with a group of giant four pincered crabs, the light red scaled dragon had gotten comfy in the sands of her home island in the aquatic bio dome. Originally she had just decided to lie down and watch the waves roll pass for a little while but the warmth of the sand and her exciting day had caught up with Luna before she could realise it and she had fallen asleep and been snoozing for some time. It was only when the waves touched the tips of her feet that she'd roll over to stare back at where she thought the sun would be. Only. The sun wasn't there, in fact it was quite a lot higher than she last remembered it. Had she really been asleep for that long? And was it...

"AHHN!" Was it really that late in the day already? No, no she was sure she was only lying there for a little while! There was somewhere she had to be in about, uh, five degrees of the sun moving from the horizon! Which was like, fifteen minutes! How was she meant to get all the way over to the forest bio dome in that time? Nyyahh! There was no time to think about how, as quickly as she could, Luna would shove herself off of the sand diving headlong into the ocean before her, using her amazing swimming capabilities to quickly dash her way towards the exit of the aquatic dome. If she reeeaallly hurried maybe she could still get there, uh, fashionably late!

After a lot of rushing, a lot of pushing random citizens out of the way to get from one dome to the other and a whole lot of panting, Lunairllie finally could see the organised location dead ahead of her. Pff she was only eight minutes late, and hey she could even spot Pharex from the hill she was running down! "Haaayyyyy~!" The dragon would call out with a smug grin as she leapt from the hill and glided her way down beside her friend, flicking her legs forward before she landed to land straight into a seated position. "How it go'n?"

The smaller dragon would sit down on the ground in a sort of cross legged position as he waited, taking note that his guest was being late for the occasion. Someone was probably a bit too distracted for their own good. He wouldn't be surprised if the louder dragon got herself caught up in a different activity instead, or gauged the time incorrectly. Too bad not everyone could be orderly about things, eh? Well, Pharex wasn't really in a hurry today, so he'd let the fact pass, whistling a random tune to himself as he sat on the grass. Up until the pinkish mass barreled through and descended from a nearby hill. A grand entrance as always, ey? The green eyed dragon would put on a wispy smile as he lifted one paw up in greeting. "Good horse food to you too, dear sea princess.", he'd respond in a somewhat teasing tone, as he moved himself into a slight floating position.

"The day seems to be going swimmingly well for the time being, as much as we aren't near water right now.", he'd add in his answer as he clapped his small hands together. "I shall assume you had fun yourself?"

The dragons smug grin would turn to one of a sly smirk as she shot a small amount of water straight at Pharex's face. "Hay! Dun need'a be mean. I can say hay however I wan' say hay!" With an amused chuckle as she looked at her friend who was probably at this moment wiping water out of his face. Luna would wrap her own tail around herself so that it laid across her lap and reached all the way back behind her again as she listened to how Phar's day had been. "O' course! I spent the most'a the day swimming deep down to find secrets n' treasure! Fought me some big crabs too. Fell asleep by accident on the sands after, s'why I were a lil' late. Toootallly good sleep tho'!" The light red dragon would rub the back of her neck awkwardly for a moment before her nose suddenly caught wiff of something that broke her from her apology.

Luna's emerald and ruby mixed eyes would lock onto the picnic basket that she assumed Phar brought with him, her eyes opening wide as she'd suddenly point towards it as a small excited squeal escaped her body. "Did ya bring my favourite!?" She'd question in a hasted tone, being way louder than she really needed to be as she bounced her tail on her lap excitedly whilst waiting to see what Pharex would say in response to her question.

Being as light as he was, the water actually knocked him backwards a little, and he would grumble lightly as he wiped his eyes. "You sure react to a joke fast." Brrr. The water felt a little bit unnecessary, but he was in a good enough mood to not start getting mad about the reaction. As much as getting wet was a hassle. "Heh, should have at least made some crab food." Not that he was a big fan of them or anything, but it could potentially be a nice...you know, trophy thing? Speaking of...eh? The dragon would swing his tail slightly as he was suddenly question on his own choice of food items. "I think..there should be a few. I fished what I happened to catch." It would have taken way longer if he kept only certain ones and tossed others back, and he didn't have the whole day for it.

Luna would smirk, she knew that her playfulness wasn't massively appreciated by Pharex, though she simply couldn't help herself sometimes. "Got reactions of'a true great dragon~!" She'd boldly claim with pride before shooting some warmed water into her hands that seemingly sat there not leaking through her grip at all. "Use this, is warmer if that last one were too cold." She'd say, offering to water up towards Phar-Phar to which she'd either wait for him to do something with it or instead drop it over her own head, the clear liquid basically leaving her bone dry as it slipped off her skin.

"Oh! That's great idea! Totally will remember to if any of'em try it again!" The Sea Dragon would laugh, sheesh why didn't she think of that. Maybe she could find them later? She knew exactly where she fought them, unless some other creature had taken away the spoils already. Grhmmm... Though that mattered not for now, as she already had a feast in front of her that Pharex had collected for the pair! "They tend to be biters 'round the early morning! So hopefully there is some, can I check? We eating now or what we doing first?"
