On The Lookout Empty On The Lookout

Tue Feb 27, 2018 12:35 am
Breeze made its way through the grassy fields of the forest bio dome, making the vegetation sway gently as it passed by. The flowers and grass weren't the only things swaying in the wind though, the blue fur of the creature that was standing on top of a large, somewhat slanted rock getting ruffled by the air. The atmosphere appeared to be mostly peaceful and calm, with no clear sign of any loud life to be found close by at the moment, leaving the furry being a lone soul in the grassy area.

Green eyes stared ahead, unblinking, arms crossed over the chest as the blue visitor stood there in a nearly motionless fashion. Were they waiting for something? Well, the motive behind this strange 'activity' was currently unknown of course, but perhaps something would happen soon...

On The Lookout Empty Re: On The Lookout

The breeze. Soft, calm, and warm. It whispered secrets to those who had ears to hear it just like the grass, flowers, insects, and other creatures of the field did.  The scene was serene. Peaceful. It was the sort of seen that would put a smile on anyone's face all except on small creature, hidden in the grass crouched down as strange closed like eyes focused ahead.  This little creature only 6 inches in height had rabbit like ears folded back as the wind blew across its strange bluish spotted skin and through its dark hair. The creature remained close to the ground moving slowly towards the thing it saw ahead.

This thing was something blue and white that stood on a rock in this amazing sea of colors. It was this thing that had distracted the being from bug hunting as instead it focused on the blueness of what appeared to be fur. How attractive, she wanted to know what it was, but needed to get closer for this to occur. So she kept moving at her slow pace until she was finally at the rock. Tapping into the odd power of the spirits within her, a few blue colored orbs would float around her as she drifted up a bit, her black nailed fingers gripping the edge of the rock as she looked up at this tailed thing that was not only attractive, but cute to boot. It didn't seem to notice her though....she didn't think. It certainly wasn't looking downward, but then again who knew how aware things were here. Regardless of that though, she would quietly observe the thing before opening her mouth.

"Is the cute thing waiting for something?" she would ask her voice clear and carrying well despite her size.  After speaking she would become quiet as she kept her eyes on the creature observing and waiting.

Do you need to be looking down directly to be able to see things there? Maybe if you're looking for tiny bugs that needed greater pin-point focus, however, bigger things would become noticeable as vision wasn't completely linear. Besides, this long-eared thing spent a good time walking over to get here, and it wasn't like it came from behind, did it now? Aldramel didn't really move in his spot though, as it couldn't have been sure that someone passing through was bound to be doing it to go talk to him. If they wanted to in fact disturb him instead of having an entirely different goal, they were going to do so. Which is exactly what would happen in time.

The edges of those flopped over ears would twitch slightly at the sounds of voice, green orbs finally moving to stare at the small creature that had been creeping up towards him directly. "Waiting, and taking a moment to meditate." The answer would come soon after, in a somewhat higher-pitched, child-like sounding voice.

The little floating creature would watch the other, the ears folded back slightly as those strange closed like eyes remained focus on the one standing on the rock. When said thing's ears twitched and looked down at her, the creature's nose would twitch a bit as she took in the scent of the other. As she did this, one long white ear would raises as she listened to the voice.

"The cuteness is waiting and meditating," she would repeat. "What does the cuteness wait for and does the cuteness meditate often?" she would remaining in her lowered spot for now, watching.

Well, Aldramel didn't particularly smell of anything strange. Really, one would likely just register clean fur or something of the like, so it was a question of how useful smelling him could actually be. Considering the questions given for a moment, the blue and white furred being would spread his arms out wide, a somewhat solemn expression crossing its face. "I wait for prey." Would be the initial answer, half potentially sounding intimidating, and half like a silly joke due to the childish tone of voice. "Meditating helps focus, therefore yes, although it isn't a necessity." It was just something to do here and there.

A small pause later, he would cock his head. "....is there something I can help you with?"

Clean fur was a good scent to have. It sure would've sucked if the scent had been musk or some other unpleasant odor.  It made her wonder though did this one perhaps live where it could take baths or something. She most certainly didn't recall any wild animals smelling of such. Hmm how curious.  Maybe he was a visitor then? She wanted to ask, but just when the thought crossed her mind to do so the cute thing moved and talked.

"The cuteness hunts," she would begin her being more of a statement rather than a question. "What prey does the cuteness seek as it mediate to focus?" she would ask not seeming to be going anywhere at all or even seeming concerned she may in fact be scaring away whatever this one was hunting for.  And as for the question posed to her a short time later.

"The cuteness questions. Is the cuteness bothered by us?" she would ask her tone never really moving from the quiet monotone tone she was currently using as she kept a strong focus on the small creature. "Though we want the cuteness's name. Unless of course the cuteness like to be called the cuteness. Also we want to know if this is the cuteness's home."
