Where Muffins... Grow? (Callie) Empty Where Muffins... Grow? (Callie)

Where Muffins... Grow? (Callie) BJjIxiY

"Hum... Proxy, this is the right place, right?"

The boy would ask his shadow weapon, the hood and gloves out and visible for all to see. He wasn't too concerned that people would think he was... Well, you know, a monster. Proxy specifically designed this form to hide the fact that it was a shadow weapon from the start. But, really, it was still kind of scary... What if someone got too close or could sense things? It was all just...

Anyways, Zavie wasn't alone though. He had around him a small entourage of cats. His Kitty Cat Musketeers! Quite frankly, they were his spy network to keep tabs on going ons around the city. His plan? To find more foxes! Why? To, uh, learn how to avoid them. Callie might have Terra and Muffin but at least Terra was a shadow and not a real fox and he could always run away from Muffin... So, not too much of a difficult plan, right?

Her nose would twitch. What had started as an ordinary every day walk out in East Eden quickly became one of a hunt. The girl would stare around in all directions, breathing in rapidly to take in the scents around her. It was faint, but it wasn't long pass. She had been mistaken before, catching onto some old scent from a long time ago, even a day ago before! But this one, despite being faint was still fairly fresh! She was sure, it couldn't of been more than ten minutes old! "Terra! We have a new mission, help me out would you? Please!" Callie would cry out, not giving her shadow weapon a chance to respond before beginning to dash and zigzag her way through the wooded area.

"I doubt you'll need me. Your nose is as sharp as mine Cals. Makes hide and seek so boring! Neheheh!" Despite this, Terra would keep track of the scent himself ensuring that the girl didn't get off track either with her excitement or just being herself and losing focus of what she was doing mid way through. Though it seemed as though the young vixen was adamant of tracking this particular scent down. Neheh, it was gonna be another one of those days, huh?

Although quiet and distant at first, it wouldn't take long before Callie managed to hone in on her target... The unsuspecting Zavie would probably be able to pick up the sound of rushing feet, snapping twigs and rustling bushes that were quickly advancing on his position. Like a predator on its last mad dash to catch its prey!

"Zavie, run!"

The mental scream of Proxy forcing her way into Zavie's innermost thoughts. She was everywhere, and the noises of someone quickly honing in on him made the fear overwhelming. He wouldn't even look back, in a minute he was off. He'd dash forward and quickly scatter his cats. They'd know to try and trip up whoever was chasing him.

He'd get a sizable lead thanks to his innate cat like agility, though the forest made it hard to traverse. While he'd vault over stones and fallen trees and the likes, it was hard to get around masses of trees or thorn bushes and stuff.

Ooohh! He wanted to make a game of it? How fun! The girl would smirk as he caught sight of Zavie just at the last moment before he dashed out of view. This should be great! Pretty sure they'd never properly tried to see which one of them was faster than the other before, she knew that Zavie would probably be pretty fast. Though she had to be faster! Right? She'd been running like, all her life! Plus this was her kind of terrain, even if Zavie was faster than her, she was sure she had much better footing to make use of the land to catch up!

Darting from tree to tree, using loose roots and rocks to push herself off of for every little piece of extra speed she could grab hold of. It seemed as though, slowly but surely, she was indeed catching up to her good friend. Now, it was time for the last surge of speed. The vixen had to be sure to time it just right, any false move and she'd send herself hurtling straight into the ground if Zavie suddenly changed direction! Though she was confident in her abilities and once she'd finally caught up enough would leap forward, her arm out stretched and bring her hand down onto the boys shoulder!

... Before realizing she hadn't thought about how to catch herself afterwards even if she did get him and would tumble head first into the ground and end up doing a rolly-polly. "Tag! You're it!" She'd call out triumphantly, throwing her arms up into the air from her position on the ground before wincing at a sudden pain in her forearm. "Gyaa! Owwie! Stupid ground!"
